Taking an NFL Stadium Tour |
|
|||
|
Would you like to run on a
state of the art artificial field? Sit in the luxury box or see what
goes on in the player’s locker room? Taking a tour of your local
NFL
Stadium is an often overlooked activity that every NFL fan should
participate in. On gameday, NFL fans mob these magnificent sports venues
that harken from the days of the original Roman Coliseum, but throughout
the week the local stadium is forgotten. The parking lot is abandoned,
the tailgaters are gone, but inside, the stadiums are still abuzz with
activity. Some stage NFL practices, some host events, and some have
Team
Pro Shops selling merchandise throughout the week, but most NFL Stadiums
actually allow the public to stop in for a visit to see what goes on
behind the scenes. Usually the ticket prices to attend an
NFL stadium tour
are very reasonable. Groups tours of the stadiums are fairly common
knowledge, but walk-up public tours for individuals are also available
throughout the week. It is something definitely worth checking out and
www.nflfootballstadiums.com
has all the information you need to arrange a stadium tour posted on
each team site. |

Texas Stadium Tour - July 2007 Unbelieveable Dallas Cowboys Stadium tour! Bring your camera for plenty of unique photo opportunities. See the actual Dallas Cowboys Locker Room .... most tours take your through visitor lockers. The highlight of this stadium tour is that guests are taken down onto the field where footballs and kicking tees are provided. |

Raymond James Stadium
Tour - November 2007 Awesome Stadium tour that includes a tour of the pirate ship created by Disney Imagineers that sits in the North Endzone. Great behind the scenes although I was not allowed to run on the field. |

McAfee Coliseum
Stadium Tour
- April 2007 Awesome Stadium tour of the Oakland Raiders Facility, plenty of behind the scenes access. Weight room, Locker room, press box included. But although we went down to the field we were not really allowed to run on the natural grass field. |

University of
Phoenix Stadium - July 2007 Amazing state of the art facility for the Arizona Cardinals. One of the finest in the league. Retractable roof, retractable field, shaped like a barrel cactus form of a coiled snake. |
||||
![]() ★★★ |
Minneapolis Metrodome Stadium Tour
- April 2007 Great Minnesota Vikings Tour, fantastic $3 price tag. Impressive insight on how a dome stadium operates. Interesting football / baseball dual use. The highlight is definitely going down on the field to inspect the Field Turf. |
||||

Reliant Stadium Tour
- July 2007 Impresive facility, great Houston Texans tour. Retractable roof, removable natural grass field. Lots of behind the scenes access, awesome Club Level, but unfortunately I took the tour during the offseason when there was no field at Reliant Stadium. . |
||||

Ford Field Stadium Tour - April 2007 Great Stadium Tour. The Ford Family and the Detroit Lions have built an impressive facility and it really shines through during this stadium tour. Group tours can book a football clinic where NFL players provide punt, pass, and kick instruction. |
||||

M&T Bank Stadium - February 2007 The Baltimore Ravens only offer tours for groups of 20 or more, walk-up tours are not given. I was able to arrange a quick walk through, but it was very brief. |

Monster Park Stadium Tour
- April 2007 The San Francisco 49er Stadium tour is non-existent which is something I believe they should reconsider. I arranged a private tour for myself and got lots of great pictures that are posted at the link above. |

Edward Jones Dome
Stadium Tour - October 2007 The St. Louis Rams Greatest Show on Turf Stadium Tour does not exist. I think a stadium tour in St. Louis would be a fantastic success. I was able to arrange for a personal tour that took me down onto the field, but currently there is nothing. |
||||

RCA Dome - September 2007 The 2006 Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts do not offer a stadium tour of their facility. It may be in preparation for Lucas Oil Field which opens in 2008, but still disappointing. |
||||

FedEx Field
- February 2007 The Washington redskins do not offer public tours of FedEx Field. |
