Stadium Review
Pittsburgh Steelers Stadium - A Cold Night in Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh, PA was to be our first stop on a journey to visit four stadiums in ten days including Jacksonville, Tampa, & Atlanta.  Myself and my friend Jeremy were set for a road trip that would take us down south to warmer weather.  The defending Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers were facing an up and coming Cleveland Browns team on a bitter cold Pittsburgh evening ... and let me tell ya, it was bloody cold my friends.  Seated in Section 539, we were greeted by the warmth of the Pittsburgh natives, who welcomed us with open arms as we were dressed in the garb of a true Steel-Town legend, Linebacking great, Greg Lloyd.  My fantasy football life was on the line as I was there to scout "Fast" Willie Parker, my fantasy football running back who I had started earlier that evening.  "Fast" Willie did not disappoint as he posted a 223 yard, Pittsburgh Steeler franchise record performance, for my team, "The Danger Zone".  the Pittsburgh Steelers ran all over Cleveland that night as their once dominant running attack returned to Pittsburgh.  Stadium Parking directly adjacent to Heinz Field is Pre-pay only.  Fans can find parking around Heinz Field in private lots for $25.00.  We did not see a whole lot of tailgating, but the Bitter Cold and 8pm game-time may have deterred the diehards.  Pittsburgh Steeler terrible towels can be purchased in the Stadium giftshop for $8 per towel. A bargain price if you ask me. For swinging that towel overhead like a medieval spiked ball and chain, one cannot help but be swept up in Pittsburgh Steeler lore. Great Faciliy, Great Fans, Great win!

The Food - Sandwiches by Primanti Bros
Hometown fans swear by the sandwiches prepared by the Primanti Bros ... definitely a staple of the area and thankfully available within the comfortable confines of Heinz Field.  I highly recommend the "Pitts-Burger" or Capicola & Cheese sandwiches which can be purchased from Primanti Bros. for $6 each.  The "Pitts-Burger" is a hamburger patty served with fires and coleslaw inside the sandwich which are all slapped between two fine slices of italian bread.  The Capicola & Cheese is the same sandwich except that it's prepared with Capicola instead of the Hamburger Patty.  I thoroughly enjoyed the fries and slaw in my sandwich rather than on the side, which is how the sandwich is served.  Hot Sauce with either sandwich is a must.
